Caburn UHV has been trading for more than 15 years with many scientific institutions in all European countries . Our major customers include: CERN, ESRF, SLS Daresbury , Manchester University (Chemistry), Oxford University (Metallurgy), Imperial College London, Philips and Corning Glass.

All products are warranted for one year. In the event of a problem, please contact us for instructions to return goods. If goods arrive in a damaged condition, please notify us immediately with, if possible, a digital photograph of the damage. Please keep the packaging.

Delivery from our Depot in Lewes UK is by DHL or similar express carrier on a next day basis. This will be charged on the invoice.
Delivery of smaller objects can be made by Post if requested. This is normally a lot cheaper than express carriers but takes up to one week. Post is charged at cost.

Accounts
Institutions such as Universities and Government or International Laboratories automatically have an account with us.
Orders should be addressed to Caburn UHV Limited and sent by fax or post. They should have an official order number of the Institution. Companies can establish a trading account with us on request. Account customer's invoices should be settled within 45 days. For settlement within 10 days, a 2% discount (skonto) is available. Please ask for this facility at time of order.

Pro-Forma
If you do not have an account, a pro-forma invoice will be sent before despatch of goods and shipment will take place as soon as payment is received. Alternatively, you can deal on a cash with order basis and get an automatic 4% discount.

Currency and Duty
Prices are normally quoted in Euros (€) or Pounds (£), FOB Lewes, UK If the item is imported into the EU, then import duty is included in the price together with shipping from the factory to our Depot at Lewes.
The goods are in free circulation in the EU.
VAT is not included.
